Innova has made another advance in disc golf that targets all players. Blizzard technology incorporates thousands of micro bubbles in the the durable Champion plastic. The result is a high speed drivers in premium plastic that fly great in weights all the way down to 130 grams. Models under 140 grams float in water.
The flight numbers of the Beast are: Speed 10, Glide 5, Turn of -2 and Fade of 2.
The micro bubbles at the surface of the disc crate a slightly different texture that make the disc feel a little different than its heavier counterpart, but this is a natural and does not affect the performance of the disc. It does not constitute it as an x-out or blemished product. The Blizzard material is just as impact resistant as regular Champion, but it does seem to be more susceptible to scuffs and abrasions.
Discs in the 151-159 gram range (Japan Open Class) are great for any player looking to lighten up a bit.
Discs in the 140-150 gram range (True 150 Class) great for getting the most from your arm. Easy to throw far.
Discs in the 130-139 gram range (Floats in Water) are great for effortless distance and so light that they float.
